Many of you may have seen the article a couple of days ago in the Anchorage Daily News that discussed the troubles that the home building industry still faces even though the recession is considered over. We could not agree more! It has been Spinell Homes' opinion that our economy will never truly recover until the entire housing industry is repaired.

New home sales seem to have picked up a bit here at Spinell Homes in the last couple of weeks! FHA Loan? Get it NOW!!!
Thinking about getting an FHA loan? Then you will want to know about this: The FHA is going to raise the monthly mortgage insurance on FHA loans after April 18, 2011. On a home purchase price of $250,000 that would mean an extra $51 per month. I don't know about you, but there's a lot of things I can think of to do with an extra $51 every month! If the interest rates also rise, this will add serious dollars to your monthly payment. So, bottom line is....
